They made our dream become reality and worked with us to really get exactly what we wanted out of our wedding. We had a very complex 3 day wedding full of events, catering, different themes and they were able to do it all. So grateful for their help in this process and we truly could not have done it without them.

Experiência negativa: 1 star is already too much for this company. Como Branco was supposed to help us during the planification of our wedding. We were late and trying to organise a 250 ppl wedding in 6 months. When we presented them the project, everything was possible, they were professional and had plenty of ideas. We trusted them, and decided to accept their crazy fees, because they seemed competent. In 4 months time, our wedding project literally didn’t moved an inch. Everything that was booked was thanks to our personal contacts. Every venues, photographers, videographers, caterers, kitchen rental for the caterer, had been booked personally by us. We tried to share our resentment when they suggested that my wife pay 450€ cash for a make up trial (just for the trial). And at that time, I think they understood they won’t suck up all our money so they decided to break the contract and to leave us on our own. 2 monthes before our 250 people wedding in a foreign country. This happened just 1 week before we were supposed to arrive in Lisboa to finalise the last details with their team. As this was not sufficient anymore we then learn that they told some third-party providers not to work with us because we were impossible… They are crazy incompetent and have no business ethics at all. NB : for those who are still willing to work with them —> THEY CHARGE a 10% hidden fee to every third-party providers that they will make you pay without knowing. NB2: We did organise our wedding without them, and it was excellent. Do not hesitate to reach out if you need some advice. Happy to share.

We chatted with many other potential planners, and Como Branco won us over with their extensive experience, beautiful but understated styling and design, and supreme professionalism. We would highly recommend their services--with their help, we and our guests had an experience of a lifetime.

Experiência negativa: Primeiro de tudo: são desonestos e denunciam o comentário negativo para que seja desativado e novos visitantes leiam apenas o positivo. Compartilho minha experiência para que outros noivos não passem pelo mesmo. Casei no Sublime Comporta em Maio/23 num evento para 30 pessoas: cerimônia ao ar livre, cocktail, jantar e festa. A CBW ficou responsável pela decoração e organização. Apesar deles alegarem que paguei apenas 2,5k (o que soa como uma piada!) tenho todos os comprovantes que o investimento total só com a CBW foi de quase 10.000EUR. Confiamos na Marta e em seu tão mencionado 10 anos de experiência. Resumo: apesar de ser a pessoa com quem tratamos, Marta nunca apareceu no dia do evento e a equipe escalada não demonstrou expertise. Planejamento: como noiva eu sabia exatamente o que queria e no primeiro contato compartilhei todo o plano de decoração e fornecedores. Ainda assim sofremos com a falta de transparência e eficácia na comunicação e processos. Nesse momento, eu já havia sentido que a CBW talvez não tivesse sido a escolha certa, mas como já havíamos pago a primeira parte, confiamos nos reviews e na "experiência de uma década” e seguimos. No grande dia: planejamos o Welcome Sign, um espelho na entrada da cerimônia com uma mensagem impressa que fazia parte do storytelling do evento. O time de decoração, comandado pela Inês, não soube montar o suporte e o espelho foi quebrado durante a montagem ou seja, não tivemos o Welcome Sing e não houve plano B para reposição. Detalhe: pagamos tanto o espelho quanto a impressão e a montagem para CBW, que nos ofereceu o reembolso de €25 - nos recusamos usamos a aceitar! Em retorno ao nosso feedback, recebemos a seguinte mensagem: “não podemos controlar o vento” como se a criação de um suporte sólido ou um plano B não fosse de responsabilidade da decoração. Organização: comandada pela Joana. Não houve recepção dos convidados na cerimônia e nossos familiares não sabiam o que fazer. Itens importante da cerimônia foram posicionados errados prejudicando alguns momentos importantes e contrariando o planejamento. Minha experiência como noiva: solicitei uma simples água e uma taça de champagne durante o momento da maquiagem que nunca foram recebidos. E ainda: minutos antes da cerimônia questiono sobre o meu bouquet, que simplesmente foi esquecido de ser trazido. Minha musica de entrada tocando e eu já pronta esperando a Inês trazer o bouquet. Jantar: apenas 30 pessoas, sitting plan, menus personalizados e restrições alimentares documentadas. Todos os detalhes conversados em reunião e registrados. A CBW, como Wedding Planner, deveria instruir a cozinha sobre a posição dos convidados e restrições alimentares, mas não aconteceu e também não distribuíram os menus corretamente na mesa de jantar. Resultado: convidados não foram servidos adequadamente. Falta de luz: sofremos uma queda de luz devido a sobrecarga. Detalhe, o Sublime Hotel havia questionado a CBW sobre a necessidade de potência adicional e foram enfáticos sobre a não necessidade: ficamos sem luz! Ou seja, meses de planejamento e detalhes pensados com carinho para a melhor experiência dos nossos convidados não foram respeitados e seguidos no casamento. Nós fomos enfáticos durante o planejamento para que durante o evento pudéssemos apenas desfrutar, infelizmente, tivemos o oposto com a Como Branco Wedding. Obviamente, ficamos impactados com tantos erros durante nosso casamento, e a reação generalista e vazia ao nosso feedback nos deixou perplexo e com a certeza que realmente sofremos um golpe baixo. Por experiência, NÃO ARRISQUE SEU DIA, seu investimento por um orçamento previamente mais em conta. NÃO CONFIE em fotos bonitas de INSTAGRAM e REVIEWS positivos online, leve em consideração o fator cultural e certifique-se que você não está lidando com pessoas que estão apenas atrás de dinheiro. Uma noiva jamais deseja fazer review como este sobre um fornecedor do seu grande dia. Uma pena, mas EVITE CBW!!!!

Experiência fantástica: Como Bronco helped us plan the wedding of our dreams! Planning a wedding from abroad can be stressful and daunting, however Marta and Hélène made the process so easy the event ended up being even more incredible than we could’ve hoped for! From our initial zoom meeting, my husband and I could tell Marta and her team are very professional at executing destination weddings. From sourcing the venue to executing all the fine details Marta and her team were especially instrumental in helping us secure our venue. Given that the venue that was our top choice was very high in demand, they were in constant communication with the venue to ensure we could book it on one of our preferred weekends. The rest of the planning process was a breeze. Everything is listed in detail in a google spreadsheet, from vendor presentations to budget management, the team is extremely organized and kept us on schedule. Marta understood our aesthetic with minimal instructions needed. She presented us with a look book that did not require much additional feedback. For every aspect of the wedding that required a vendor, at least 3 options were presented, and if we weren’t compelled by any of the initial suggestions they are always willing to offer more. In the end every vendor exceeded our expectations. The floral and decor was even more beautiful and abundant on the day of than the original look book. All of our friends raved about our DJ which they claimed was one of the best wedding sets they’ve ever experienced. The food was on par with a top notch fine dining experience. There were also countless little details that Como Branco took care of so we didn’t have to worry about them. Our guests all had a great time, claiming it was one of the most thoughtful weddings they’ve been to. If you are planning a destination wedding in Lisbon I highly recommend Como Branco. My husband and I are already talking about how we hope they can plan our vow reunion in 10 years .

We cannot praise Como Branco enough for the absolutely outstanding service provided from 2020 to 2022 (we had to postpone twice due to Covid restrictions). The support was fantastic, the team is uber-professional and both ceremonies were perfectly planned and executed. The best wedding planners ever!

We live in Washington, DC, and after attending a friend's wedding at the Penha Longa resort in Sintra, Portugal, we decided we also wanted to get married there. We hired Como Branco to help us plan our big day, which went off without a hitch on August 14th, 2022. They made the entire process of planning our wedding - as well as an additional welcome event for our guests - extremely easy. My wife and I were pretty hands-off: we had some general ideas of how we wanted things to look in terms of colors and an overall theme. Marta and Ligia showed us some mood boards and pinterest collages to gauge out interest, and after a few initial meetings and email exchanges where they worked to understand our preferences, we hardly had to make any more decisions. They worked with Penha Longa and organized all of the external vendors - we just had to approve things here and there and answer any questions they asked us. They responded quickly, which wasn't always easy given the time difference, and made all the necessary information we needed available to us via shared google docs. It was an efficient and worry-free experience. When we saw everything come together on the day of our wedding - the decorations, the tiny details we wouldn't have thought to ask for, the beautiful stationary and signage - we were stunned. It surpassed all our expectations. And it wasn't just the decor - Ligia was instrumental in guiding us through the logistics for the lead up to the ceremony and the rest of the evening's activities that followed. If you are considering a wedding in Portugal - which we cannot recommend enough! - we think you would be hard pressed to find better partners than the team at Como Branco.

Experiência fantástica: I had to rewrite my review multiple times because I ran out of the allotted space! That is how much I wanted to rave about the incredible duo of Marta and Margarida at Como Branco. I’m going to cut right to the chase: Como Branco planned our August 22nd wedding at Penha Longa in Sintra, Portugal and it was the best day of my life. Because of the Pandemic, Margarida and Marta actually had to plan two weddings for us (virtually, as we live in the US), as our first date was postponed. Marta, the styling creative director, took note of everything we envisioned and created a decor proposal that blew my mind and brought everything we wanted to life. She has an incredible eye for design and was able to navigate our budget with our desires to ensure it was perfect. She was always mindful of budget but provided amazing feedback, i.e. suggestions to go with a certain bar or element when it made sense, and to omit other elements that we could go without. I cannot stress enough how every guest said to us that this was the most beautiful wedding they had ever been to. Marta absolutely crushed this. She has an impeccable eye for design. Margarida, the logistics planner, could honestly run a country - in fact, I think she should. She is one of the most organized and detail-oriented people I have ever met. Her spreadsheets and documents were expert level, and made everything so unbelievably stress-free for us to know that everything would get handled in a timely fashion. We had to juggle so many last minute changes thanks to the ever evolving covid situation and she navigated us through everything. Both Marta and Margarida are impeccable professionals who were simultaneously so lovely and kind to work with. Often, we got wrapped up in work or traveling and they would gently remind us to respond to an email or to be mindful of a task. Every time we had a zoom or a planning call we would feel a sense of peace and calm afterwards and just overall gratitude that we were in their hands. Marta and Margarida went above and beyond for us to ensure we had the most spectacularly beautiful wedding. Every single detail was executed perfectly and there were many moments where last minute things needed to change (like the extreme wind on the wedding day requiring the cocktail hour set up to be moved indoors), but they handled everything so efficiently. I told the ladies months before that the day of the wedding I didn't want to have to make any decisions and I trusted that if anything came up they would make the necessary adjustments, and they did. I cannot stress enough that these two ladies truly had to plan two weddings for us during a pandemic, and they did it with aplomb. They made our wedding day beyond perfection and we are so grateful to them. I feel like I could go on and on because this review barely scratches the surface of what an amazing job Marta and Margarida did, we are so fortunate that we had them as our wedding planners. I hope anybody reading this review will make the decision to hire them for their special day.

Experiência fantástica: CBW helped us plan a truly one of a kind wedding, spanning 2 cultures / religions and 2 nights. Everything was “from scratch” - they sourced a unique set of vendors (Indian strings to vintage jazz band to Fado to henna), crafted a perfect schedule accommodating our suggestions with their years of experience, came up with a jaw dropping decor plan & phenomenal food (Indian & Portuguese!). They also made rescheduling our wedding (twice) due to Covid stress free, and set up testing & safety measures that led to our wedding being Covid-free (not something every wedding can report). When the day finally arrived, our guests were stunned and delighted over and over again with an event that was in exquisite taste and perfectly reflected our style as a couple. Couldn’t be happier

They were able to secure rapid covid tests for our guests at our welcome event prior to our actual wedding and this helped everyone (guests and vendors) feel safe. They introduced us to 99% of our vendors including: our makeup artist, DJ, decorators, florists and caterers. All of whom were extremely kind and professional. Without their connections I really don't know how our wedding could have happened. I also liked that there was an entire team dedicated to ensuring our wedding went off seamlessly vs just one planner. It definitely made us feel more secure. Overall I would highly recommend working with Como Branco if you are planning a wedding in Portugal!

Experiência fantástica: The ladies of Como Branco are organized, detail-oriented, pleasant to work with, and extremely receptive to the couple's vision. We were definitely not the easiest couple to plan for, as we changed our minds about our design vision but they were there along with us throughout and really listened to what we were trying to go for. We really wanted a modern, zany, eccentric wedding in a historic place set in nature, and they were able to achieve that. They respect your vision but also importantly provide practical and logistical suggestions about why certain things will work or not work, which is what you want in a good wedding planner. Our point person was Ana, who was really approachable and kept us focused and on track for all the tasks, payments, etc. so we didn't have to worry too much about all that ourselves. We saw a lot of venues with her and she really saw us through the entire process from start to finish. They try to space out all the things you have to do over several months with lots of advance notice, which is really helpful. Marta and Catarina are the design mavens who crafted amazing moodboards and portfolio proposals for all the design elements. We were really impressed with their work as well as their access to great vendors (floral, furniture) who help to produce that perfect atmosphere on your big day. On the day of, the entire crew was there to make the big day a success. We can't tell you what it is like to share your day with a group of wonderful, professional women who you've gotten to know and who feel every bit like friends at your wedding. I would highly recommend Como Branco to any couple interested in having a wedding in Portugal. They have a lot of experience with all different types of weddings and couples from large to small, classic to less traditional, and they have great contacts for all their vendors. Experiência fantástica: My wife and I hired Como Branco weddings to plan our wedding in Portugal. We could not have been happier with the results. The team was simply amazing! From the beginning, they were responsive and their number one priority was to bring to life the vision my wife and I had for our special day. Their attention to detail and the effort they put in at every step of the process made us feel comfortable that we were in great hands. Since this was a destination wedding and so many of our guests were flying long distances to attend, we felt a lot of pressure to host the perfect event. We gathered pictures. We put together a Pinterest board. We had a vision. I am still amazed that the end result was EVEN BETTER than we imagined. How is that possible! Kudos to the Como Branco team! Experiência fantástica: The Como Branco team is fantastic; they are worth every penny and more.  They are consummate professionals, incredibly skilled -- Margarida is probably the most organised, detail-focussed and pragmatic person we have ever met, while Marta and Carina have impeccable taste and joyful creativity. Very quickly after meeting them, we knew we were in safe hands. The planning process was made as smooth as it possibly could be, with the team working around our hectic work schedules. We loved everything about our wedding; it was incredibly beautiful, smooth, and fun.  They picked up on even the most passing requests, so throughout the day we found delightful little touches.  Our guests thought it was great too, with quite a few having expressed shock at how what started as such an elegant day turned into an evening with 'the best dancefloor ever'! They're also great with the less than pleasant aspects of running an event. When disaster struck as the building lost running water just as the dancing and open bar were starting, Margarida calmly and efficiently found a solution to keeping the toilets running.  She went above and beyond, staying far later than she should have to make sure everything remained well.

Experiência fantástica: Margarida, Marta and the rest of the Como Branco Team planned a fairy tale Polish / Indian wedding over 2 days across 6 different events for us at Tivoli Seteias and Casa dos Penedos in Sintra. We couldn't have been happier everything they did for us, not to mention, it couldn't have happened without them. Margarida and the planning team helped keep everhthing on track and were super organized throughout the planning process, which got stressful at times. Marta and the design team got us and worked with us to design something amazing across all the events. We highly recommend the Como Branco team and are sure they will treat anyone who works with them very well! You guys will always have a place in our hearts and we look forward to seeing you again in Lisbon!

The Como Branco team have impeccable taste, they know how to do minimalist design and styling, and they did everything to a high standard and within our budget. They were calm, warm and very responsive to our questions and needs. I have been recommending them to friends and family back at home in Australia. Experiência fantástica: Neither myself, nor my husband, thought we would enjoy planning a wedding - neither of us are particularly organised and we knew we wouldn't get out to Portugal much before the wedding itself. But from the first Skype call with Margarida and the Como Branco team we felt so at ease. Margarida set a clear framework for us from the beginning, ensuring we knew what we had to prioritise and focus on, and helped us keep on track and to our budget when we would get a bit carried away. She was always available to answer our questions we had and to support us with advice. When we came to Portugal she came with us to our tastings, trials, venue visits etc. - always there to help us out. Joana was also fantastic at following our wishes for a paired-back aesthetic and even though we didn't allocate a whole lot of budget to flowers and decor, she made the venue look perfect - exactly what we wanted. Our wedding was so much fun and ran perfectly, which was really down to the excellent planning from Como Branco. Only good things to say about the team.

Experiência fantástica: Fantastic Team to Create Your Perfect Day! I can't speak highly enough of Como Branco. Their dedicated team helped my husband and I plan the most perfect destination wedding - helping us plot out every detail of hosting 100 of our family and friends from all over the US in Lisbon. Carina and Marta were incredibly attentive - always quick to reply to any of our emails or to set up a video call. They were consummate professionals at every step; turning our vague descriptions and Pinterest boards into a professional wedding plan that plotted out each detail. They even helped us execute our crazy idea for invitations - screening the invitation onto old Portuguese cookbook pages. As we were hauling our nearest and dearest across the pond for this event, we wanted to also host an excursion the day before to Sintra and a welcome dinner the night before. Carina and Marta jumped right into action helping us to arrange an incredible day excursion with busses (etc) and a super fun casual welcome dinner - the perfect juxtaposition to our fancy-schmancy palace wedding. My husband and I are both NYC attorneys, so we are not the easiest customers. Still, Como Branco managed to exceed all of our expectations, and all for a very reasonable fee. Experiência fantástica: Como Branco was definitely one of the reasons we managed to keep sane during our wedding planning process. Organising a destination wedding, with us not only being abroad, but, due to work reasons, also thousands of miles apart at the time, seemed like an impossible task. And this is were Como Branco came in. The whole process was extremely organised and, at no point, did we feel stressed or panicked regarding our wedding. From starting with helping design and set up a website for the wedding, to all the attention to detail and decor, all the way to the care and support we got from them on the big day, Como Branco were truly excellent throughout the entire process. They were also super understanding and adaptable to all our requests and suggestions. As a gay couple, we did not want to have a wedding with all the key traditional elements, and they still managed to organize a beautiful and unforgettable day for us. We had such a great experience and wedding day that, without a doubt in our minds, we would highly recommend them to any other couple that is planning on getting married in Portugal. Experiência fantástica: Como Branco was awesome from start to finish - my wife and I came up with every challenge we could think of for them and they answered every one of them. Even on the wedding day, when a rain storm caused us to have to rearrange our plans, Como Branco came through for us - they moved the entire ceremony an hour beforehand and made it look just as perfect as we could have hoped for. Planning a wedding in Lisbon, while we were living in NY, was not easy, but Carina and Marta were great at responding to our requests, negotiating on our behalf, and providing fantastic recommendations for everything from pictures to food to music. Plus, they were so much fun to work with... we’re trying to think of how to throw another wedding there!

We are so happy to have hired ComoBranco to organize, what will stay forever, the most beautiful day of our lives. They deliver to what they promise and work so hard to deliver the most beautiful weddings. They were always responsive when we had questions and requests (even difficult ones). We were always able to find a solution to any kind of problem we might’ve had. Their capability is only limited by their creativity, always being able to think outside the box if necessary. They also work with wonderful suppliers, we chose Paperkite (photos) and HappyTogether (videos) and couldn’t be happier for it. They didn’t make out feel like “just another couple”, we felt special and important, always. It is obvious that they have excellent taste and are there to advise you for every small detail that you would need for your wedding journey ! I cannot thank you enough, especially Carina and Marta, for being so nice and helpful during this whole year of planning. You made our dream come true, made it more than special. We are really blessed to have had you organize our wedding day. You are truly the best wedding planners ever!

Experiência negativa: If I could give 0 stars i would. DO NOT use Como Branco for your wedding, specially if is a destination wedding. They are scam artists only after money! I had a horrible experience that will be hard to recover from. AVOID AT ALL COST.
